VIII International Scientific Conference “Space, Society, Politics"

On June 25-27 VIII international scientific conference "Space, Society, Politics" will be held, organized by the faculty of Social and Political Sciences of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The conference is dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the faculty. It will be conducted online using platform "Zoom" (zoom.us). Participants are professors and researchers from Georgia, as well as from USA, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Turkey etc. 

Keynote Speakers of the conference are Stephen F. Jones – Professor of Russian and Eurasian Studies at Mount Holyoke College and Neil MacFarlane – The Lester B. Pearson Professor of International Relations and Fellow at St Anne’s College, University of Oxford.

The conference will be streamed on the faculty Facebook page.

 VIII International Scientific Conference  “Space, Society, Politics"

8th International Scientific Conference – “Space, Society Politics” is dedicated to 15 years anniversary of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

The international conference aims to bring together international professors, researchers and PhD students to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of social and political sciences.
It provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for scholars and researchers to present and discuss the adopted innovative scientific and methodological achievements.

International conference invites participants from the following fields: Political Science, Public Policy/Administration, Sociology, Social Work, Journalism and Mass Communication, Social, Economic and Political Geography, Demography, Urbanism, Crisis and Conflicts, Gender studies, Nationalism and Ethnicity, Globalization, Sustainable Development and other social sciences.
